About Us

Leigh Edwards is a Fellow with the Institute of Chartered Accountants and has over 40 years Accountancy experience. He trained with Price Waterhouse Coopers in Sydney and worked initially in the area of company auditing. This gave him experience with some of the largest companies in Sydney at the time. From there, he moved to an accountancy firm in Parramatta where he specialised in small business returns and fraud investigations.

Leigh’s next career move was to the Lismore/Casino office of an international accounting firm where he specialised in small business returns and rural accounting. Moving back to Penrith and then to Camden, Leigh worked for accounting firms specialising in the area of bankruptcy/liquidation as well as servicing the needs of small business clients. He began his own practice in 1978 building up the business to eventually having offices in Camden, Liverpool and Merrylands.

In recent years Leigh has also been involved in many successful property developments in Sydney and the South Coast area. This has given him further experience in the building and construction industry.

Ana Smith

Ana has an Associate Diploma of Accounting and many years of tax experience. In addition to working in private practice, Ana has been trained by ITP and H & R Block in completing Salary Returns. She has extensive knowledge of Xero, Quickbooks and Reckon Ledgers. Ana works closely with Leigh to complete Business Activity Statements and Business Tax Returns. Ana also has experience with calculating Concessional Superannuation Contributions to take advantage of the tax benefits.

Karen Chillmaid

Karen started her career in the banking industry so has a very good understanding of finance and small business. For many years she has worked for clients as a bookkeeper and payroll officer. She is extremely experienced in the accounting software products of Xero, QuickBooks and MYOB.

Jennifer Edwards

Jennifer has a Masters of Education and in addition to working in education for many years, has managed offices in the UK and worked in Sales, Recruitment and Customer Service. She supports our Team of Accounting professionals to provide the very best service to our clients.
